Shrinkify Arduino Project – LED Pumpkin Candle

I just successfully completed my first “shrinkified” project – a flickering LED pumpkin candle. I built the project on an Arduino Uno and then using a tutorial from the High-Low Tech group at MIT, I flashed a ATtiny85 with the code and freed up my Arduino. The LED candle flickers randomly and occasionally glares angry red for a few seconds before returning to flickering. I’ve just finished a sound design for Azuka Theatre’s Dutch Masters for the 2013 Fringe/Live Arts Festival. I’m very much enjoying sound designing and am always happy to get a chance to do it. And what makes it even better is that it’s a really great play being done really well by Brendan Dalton and Brandon Pierce.

Well, it was a blast being invited and so warmly welcomed to the Jazz Festival this year. Hoping the rain will give us a pass on the last night of Shakespeare in Clark Park’s Merry wives of Windsor. We were rained out last night and half of Thursday, so we’d really like to finish the run with a performance! It’s free in Clark Park at 7pm – Shakespeare in Clark Park.
